
PA German for Chicken Heart, this heirloom dates back to the 1860’s used mostly in pickling dishes and is often stuffed. The pepper packs quite a bit of heat and is called chicken heart because it resembles the same size and shape as, well a chickens heart. The plants are sturdy and up right and can tolerate some cold temperatures for a chili plant.
