Blue Podded Capucijner’s Pea

This is a blue-podded pea that is great fresh in a salad or dry it for soups. Peas are one of the longest grown vegetables by mankind. My strain of pea comes from Mennonites out of Holland. They saw this hardy pea and sent it with the many Protestant families leaving Europe by way of the Rhine. This pea plant grows well over 100 days. About 10 sustainable seed.
