Carbon Heirloom Tomato Seeds

Black tomatoes are the thinking man’s tomato and this one is the seminal wake of that clan. Not much is know about the history of this one, first listed in seed savers exchange in the early 90's. Some people think this is the same tomato as Noir Charbonneuse (black like coal) from France, but not much is know about that tomato as well. This tomato has a bigger and more devoted fan base than Jimmy Buffet. The fruits are 4-5” on sturdy vines. The flavor is that of a burgundy wine, smoky, salty, intensely concentrated & focused to the point of obsession. This one is really a crowd favorite and one of the best tomato you can grow.
