Jaune flamme tomato is a French Heirloom that is an absolute dream. A family heirloom that originated with Norbert Parreira of Hellimer, France. This is another one of our favorites. They are golf-ball sized fruits with dramatic glowing orange skin and dark orange/red flesh. A very early producer, making loads of luscious gems that keep you wanting this variety year after year. Full juicy tomato flavor with a hint of fruit. One of our first tomateos to produce here in the fields in Pennsylvania. In the kitchen, if it makes it that far, great eating in the field or the truck on the way home, it brings a brightness and depth to summer salads. Often friends will ask what the orange tomato is.
